Artistic Philosophy and Style
Core Themes: Time, the fragility of life, the impermanence of existence, andnatural transience are central to her practice.
Materials: Primarilyworks with Jingdezhen high-white porcelain clay, prized for its fine texture, low iron content, and luminous white glaze quality.
Technical Characteristics:
Emphasis on ephemerality: Certain works areintentionally left unfired, allowing them to naturally weather and disintegrateover the course of the exhibition, symbolizing the notion of “returning todust.”
Installation-based practice: Frequentlyincorporates site-specific elements such as water droplets, light, and shadowto evoke the flow of time.
Sculptural approach: Draws inspiration fromflowers, birds, and natural forms, creating ornate and delicately craftedcompositions.
